Kickback is a personal blog. I only measure what helps me write better posts.
Visitor statistics
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without storing your IP address. It runs for everyone.
- Google Analytics only runs if you click “Allow” in the cookie bar. It shows me which posts people read and where they came from. You can change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Newsletter
- If you sign up, your email address is stored by Buttondown, the newsletter service. It is only used to send you new posts.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link that removes you right away.
